I had my hair colored and cut at a beauty school(total cost $17.50) and then tipped the person who did my hair $2 and was told by a co-worker afterward that I did not tip enoughHow much should one tip(if one is supposed tip) when one has ones hair done at a Beauty School?
When it comes to a beauty school, you should tip on what it would cost at a regular place. You're already saving money on the cut and color.


I'd say at least a $10 minimum if it was a couple of hours!





That being said, even if you wanted to just use the % rule, 15% is more than $2..it's almost $3.
